The Historical Network Research Community (HNR) is pleased to announce HISTONET, a satellite event at NetSci 2025, dedicated to fostering collaboration between historians and network scientists. This event provides a unique opportunity to explore challenges in historical network analysis and build connections across disciplines. Send your abstract before February 15th!

Sunbelt 2025 – Historical Network Research Session

Additionally, we’d like to highlight another exciting opportunity for scholars working on historical networks! The Sunbelt 2025 conference, the premier event for social network analysis, will host a session dedicated to historical network research. Deadline for submissions is February 20th, don’t forget to apply!

Since HNR 2025 will take place in Brazil, these two events offer great opportunities for European members of the HNR community to connect and engage locally.
