Via Markus Gamper:

At the XXXV Sunbelt Conference of the International Network for Social Network Analysis (INSNA), June 23-28, 2015 in Brighton, United Kingdom, we are organizing a session about "Migration, mobility and transnationalism". You can find the call for abstracts here: http://insna.org/sunbelt2015/?page_id=433  Abstracts can be submitted until the 31st of March via the site http://insna.org/sunbelt2015/ (more specifically, via this page http://insna.org/sunbelt2015/?page_id=41 ).

Our aim with this session is to bring together researchers who are analyzing social networks in relation to migration/mobility/transnationalism, and we are especially interested in learning about innovative applications of social network analysis in this field (whether theoretical or empirical -quantitative or qualitative-).

Participants do not need to submit a full paper for the Sunbelt conference. However, we would like to indicate that we plan to use the session as a starting point for developing a special issue for a peer-reviewed, indexed journal specialized in migration with this theme. If you are interested in contributing to this special issue, please indicate this in your abstract (or write us a message). The conference gives us an excellent opportunity to meet and talk and organize the submission of full papers for the SI. However, please also feel free to submit an abstract to the conference if you are not interested in participating in the special issue.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact with one of us. Also, feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested. Thank you so much,

Warm regards,
